Proposed North West Rail Link

Northwest Rail Link

The North West Rail Link is a major priority rail project for the NSW Government. During 2011 detailed work on the project was undertaken by a specialised team with Transport for NSW. As a result of this work, changes have been made to the scope of the project and planning approval will now be sought for eight stations between Rouse Hill and Epping, connecting Sydney’s north west with the wider public transport network. The proposed stations are at: Cudgegong Road, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Bella Vista, Norwest, Hills Centre, Castle Hill and Cherrybrook. The 23 kilometre rail line includes 15 kilometres of tunnels between Bella Vista and Epping, making it the longest rail tunnel ever constructed in Sydney.
